Riding Mill Women's Institue

About
The Riding Mill Women's Institute has been running since 1929 and is a registered charity (no. 1016460).

Being a Women's Institute member means:
-
Upholding our core values and ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice
-
Taking part in educational opportunities and continuing to learn
-
Welcoming all women and forming friendships
-
Speaking up against inequity and promoting a change in society

Our monthly events cover history, geography, community, crafts and many more interests, visits and activities. There are opportunities twice a year to meet with other Women's Institute groups across the Tyne Valley. We also hold an annual jumble sale to fundraise for the group.
