Riding Mill has two versatile village halls available for a variety of events and gatherings - the Parish Hall and Millennium Hall. Both halls are equipped to accommodate different needs, from community meetings to private celebrations and weddings.

A welcoming, versatile space in the heart of the village, ideal for small to medium gatherings. Perfect for meetings, classes, workshops, and performances.

Capacity & Layout

  • Seats up to 110 people in theatre-style seating.

  • Stage available for performances; additional modular staging on request.

  • Flexible layout options: theatre, classroom, or cabaret style.
     

Amenities

  • Supper Room: Small meeting room available separately or alongside the main hall.

  • Kitchen: Recently refitted (2018) for catering purposes.

  • Facilities: Modern male, female, and disabled toilets.

  • Technology: Wi-Fi access, blackout blinds, AV equipment.

  • Licensing: Premises licence for alcohol and music performances (hirer must provide details).
     

Accessibility

  • Level access into the hall.

  • Disabled toilets available.

  • Hearing loop system for the hard of hearing.

  • Six on-site parking spaces, including a disabled space; additional roadside parking available (please note this is a private residential road).

Hire Charges

  • Standard rate: £12.00 per hour

  • Affiliated groups: Reduced rate available – please enquire for details.

  • Additional items: Use of stage, kitchen, or equipment may incur a small additional fee.

Millennium hall

Light-filled, versatile, modern hall suitable for smaller groups, children’s events, and community activities.

  • Seats up to 60 people in an open-plan layout.

  • Flexible for workshops, sports sessions, parties, or classes.

  • Kitchen: Fully equipped for catering.

  • Facilities: Male and female toilets, including disabled.

  • Technology: AV equipment available.

  • Level access into the hall.

  • Disabled toilets available.

  • Nearby parking at the Old Playground tarmacked area off Church Lane.

Weddings & functions

Celebrate your special occasion in the heart of Riding Mill. Both the Parish Hall and Millennium Hall offer versatile spaces suitable for a range of events, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations.

 

Capacity & Layout

  • Parish Hall: Accommodates up to 110 guests. Ideal for receptions, galas, and formal events.

  • Millennium Hall: Seats up to 60 guests. Perfect for smaller gatherings or as an additional space for larger events.
     

Amenities

  • Kitchens: Fully equipped for catering needs.

  • Facilities: Male and female (including disabled) toilets.

  • Licensing: The Parish Hall holds a premises licence for the sale of alcohol and music performances.

  • Accessibility: Level, disabled access available to both halls.

  • Parking: Six car parking spaces at the Parish Hall, including a disabled space; additional limited parking available along the roadside adjacent to the hall. Parking at the Millennium Hall is served by the nearby 'Old Playground' tarmacked area off Church Lane.

Hire Charges

  • Full-day hire (both halls): From £250.00

  • Half-day or evening hire: From £150.00

  • Affiliated groups: Reduced rate available – please enquire for details.

  • Additional items: Tables, chairs, crockery, and marquee hire available separately.
