West Side Story.
This 2021 film is an adaptation by Steven Spielberg of the 1957 musical West Side Story,
which in turn was based on Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’. As is probably universally known, the film explores forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two
teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds.
