Coronavirus and the Village Halls

Should you catch COVID-19, most people will only have mild to moderate symptoms, but the elderly and those with underlying health problems are more vulnerable.

The Village Hall Trust, working alongside the Parish Council, the Church and other organisations in the village, are looking at ways to ensure that older members of the community or those who are self-isolating receive help if required, especially if that person has no friends or family nearby to assist them.

By this we mean someone to collect a prescription or help with shopping.

In the coming days, we will be delivering letters to all homes explaining how we can help and giving details of a number to call.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with these tasks and if you feel you are able to assist please contact Suzanne - suzanne.barkerrmvht@btinternet.com.

If you have concerns about your health call NHS 111 or visit the NHS website:
