What a wonderful way to celebrate 10 years of the Foyer Café with a Parish Hall full of people, scrumptious home-made cakes from Cheryl and glasses of bubbly.
Many thanks go to everyone who came along, the volunteers on duty, the Village Hall Trust for providing the drinks and to Judith Anderson and her Singing Ladies who provided the entertainment.
Special mention must go to Val Thompson who had the original idea of the Café and who has been the tireless organiser and leader of the huge team of happy and willing volunteers who man the Cafe twice a week.
Val has now taken a well-earned retirement and Suzanne Barker has taken up the baton and new volunteers are always very welcome. Long may the Café continue as the great social hub it has been for these last ten years.
